Why don't you try...i dunno......leaving all the sh!t behind?
What do you suggest I leave home? My phone so I can't get my music or help in an emergency? My gps watch so I can't set any PBs? My shoes because who needs those, right?
I can't tell if you're trolling or not but I'm pretty sure that any runner running >100m is carrying those things...

Must be a nice place to run in your gated community.

I was chuckling at the irony myself, just the perceived need to carry a means to kill another person is a dystopian idea of freedom.
Do you live in Iraq or Afghanistan? Why do you need to carry a gun?
Where I live you do not need that, you should move to a safer place :)
If you run with a gun and aren't either 1) wearing a badge and chasing a criminal or 2) hunting an animal so your family can eat, you are an insecure little b*tch @ss.

What is your every day carry while running and where do you conceal it?
I'll start off:
Taurus Judge Public Defender carried in my spibelt.
2/10
I'll give you a couple of points because the concept is so ridiculous AND it got me to look up the weight of the Public Defender... 27 ounces.... unloaded. Add 5 .410 shells or 45 Colt and you have 32 ounces in a big, cumbersome, hard to hold and really difficult to shoot handgun.
My KelTec P3AT weighs 11.1 ounces loaded and has carries 7 .380 rounds. My Sig Sauer P938 (great gun) weighs 17.4 ounces loaded with 7 rounds of 9mm and is WAY SMALLER than the Public Defender.
I don't carry when running, but if I were a woman running alone in isolated areas or at night, I'd carry something small and light in a waist belt I could access with one hand.

I prefer the Public Defender because it snags less in my belt and I do a lot of running at night so I think I would probably need to rely on the spread of the .410 shells versus precision shooting. Especially in a running situation where my heart is already elevated and I may not have time to aim appropriately.
I don 't feel a need to carry on runs but my daughter carries a Glock 42 .380 in a Pistolwear holster when running alone.
About 14 oz.
Depends on the distance and conditions. I usually go with a couple GU gels. If it's a particularly long run on a hot day, I might throw in a SiS gel or two as well.
I have a very long run scheduled this weekend and it's suppose to be nasty hot, so I might even pack a hydration pack to ensure I get through the run safely.
lol, a judge? Did you go out of your way to buy the worst CC weapon out there?

It's the 2" barrel model with the fiber optic front sight. Seems to shoot effectively enough.
Why are y'all packing while running? Is it for dogs and other wildlife?

Your daughter needs to upgrade
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DiA4-D4VMAAHr8D.jpgI'm all about guns but it is retarded to carry on a run if you are a male, which is what you are.
Men basically only get attacked for three reasons:
1. You are in prison and that's what happens in prison
2. You get into a stupid fight (like a bar fight that could easily be avoided or deescalated)
3. You get robbed/mugged
If you are out for a run then none of those things apply. Robbed? What do they want from you? Your 2" split shorts?
I was on a business trip in Nashville once and went for a long run at night. Got lost. Asked two sketchy dudes to point me in the right direction. They complied, but then started to get a little aggressive asking for money and acting a little weird/threatening. Like they deserved payment for their efforts. It was funny when I looked right at them and gestured to my body/running clothes/the obvious fact that I was out for a run. I then said the obvious, "I got nothing"....which they could clearly see, even as stupid as they were. Also, I was 99.8% certain that I could easily just run away from them if they tried anything. I was not worried at all.

You might want to rethink that. Most firefights are within 10 feet. The point method should get the job done at that distance. You can practice with a laser cartridge to confirm this.
If your target is more than 15m away, you open yourself up to legal action because there is no immediate danger to self.
You should look into the Sig Sauer P938 w/laser or P365 w/laser... each around $700. Lighter, more rounds, and laser sighting allows for point and shoot firing with accuracy.
Guns seem like an uncomfortable, unnecessary thing to run with.
On trips, I've accidentally run though some of the statistically most dangerous neighborhoods in the United States, and have never had an issue with being physically threatened. In Chicago, I ran by gang members that barked like dogs at me, but I've never felt physically in danger.
There was a gang in Cleveland that was going around randomly violating assaulting people for fun, but a gun would not prevent an attack. They'd come up silently from behind and smash people over the heads with pipes. If anything, they'd simply knock you out and take your gun.
I've found that no one will even approach - let alone lay hands on - a public defecator. So that's what I'm packing.
"Hey skinny, give me your iPho- whoa! WHOA!" Works every time.

You don't have a phone or Garmin watch? You don't have expensive running shoes? Airpods? Runners carry stuff worth stealing, which was my original point.
A quick Google search would prove that runners, male runners, get mugged with regularity. Maybe we won't get raped like female runners. We might get shot.

Thank you for the sincere advice. I will look into it.
