I'm a sophomore in high school going into 11th grade, who wants to go sub 9:20 in the 3200/2 mile and sub 4:20 in the 1600/mile. I was wondering if the following progression is accurate:
11th grade xc: sub 16:30-20 5k
11th grade indoor 1600/mile: 4:37-29
11th grade indoor 3200/2 mile: 9:50-37
11th grade outdoor 1600: 4:28-4:19
11th grade 3200: 9:30-9:19
Does this sound accurate or inaccurate?
What kind of training/workouts should I do?
What should my mileage be between the seasons?
Do you run fast times when you run at invites where there are a lot of fast runners?
