It's a fairly solid field, as you might expect considering so many men still don't have the standard. I'm actually a little surprised there aren't MORE American men running it. It's much easier to run 2:11 in Chicago than NYC.
Excited to see what Amy Cragg does in her first marathon since running her 2:21 pb in Tokyo in 2018.
Stephanie Bruce and Emma Bates also entered on the women's side, but it may be irrelevant if the women get the Olympic standard or not since the women's race at the Trials will likely be awarded Gold Label status.
