I have running form that could be described as "jerky"..."unpleasant"..."odd looking".... among other things
My left hip has a bit of a hitch, my left leg doesn't cycle through as much as my right and my back arches a little bit. The problem is even when I feel like I'm running relaxed and smooth I don't even notice these issues. They just feel normal to me.
Aesthetics aside, I also feel like it's holding me back in races. I feel like I'm able to run composed during workouts but in races things fall apart.
Any real proven methods to improve form? Are form drills good or bad? I can never tell because I hear a different answer everywhere
