Race can be watched live for free at 5:20 pm ET on Saturday evening in the US:
I'm confused by Australian time, website says the race starts in 8 hours and 40 odd minutes, which is 5 in the morning here in the us, which is AM, not PM.
It's Zane Robertson not Jake.

Wrote some profiles on another thread but may run out of time now. Thinking of actually going to watch, ask me anything.
Since you're from Australia, can you tell me when this race is going start. The website says what would be 5 in the morning here in the US, not evening.
Zane who?

Tipping him to win, unbelievably. Has a gold label gone to a debutante before?

59:47 half marathoner, from New Zealand and has been training in Kenya since he graduated high school.

So it’s 4.50 pm sat here, start is I think 7am tomorrow, so 14 hrs from now?

Ok, thank you. Also, I enjoy your threads previewing races, keep up the good work.
I'm 20 minutes north of the course, it's cold with squally rain showers blowing through. If it stays like this it's going to be tough to go 2:11, pretty unpleasant conditions but it could clear overnight.
It would be better if Lagat fails, and then gives up his dream of being an olympic also-ran to return to what he's good at and run a sub 4 mile when he turns 45 in December. He can do it! But he'll need to stop all the long distance training.
Running in spikes is bad for you after 32

Top five gain Olympic qualification because of the gold label status. I have Bernard Lagat coming 12th, well outside the 2.11.30 needed. I chose Shitara second, E.Chebii 3rd, kawauchi 4th, mungara 5th.
When did Yuki run 2:06:11?
Lagat did not run a marathon in Osaka in 2016.
Who knows what other crap fake stats this race is putting out.

i can see what you did. read yuki with the time below, not above. same with Bernard.

Sounds like perfect conditions for Yuki. Hopefully the wind & rain pick up.

Thank you so much. Up in the middle of the night here trying to complete the task I set myself.
Not going to see it live on two hours sleep, so don’t ask me nothing.
