I’ve worn Nike Pegasus’s throughout most of high school and all of college so far. I run cross country and track and love the shoes but am considering moving away from the Nike brand. What other shoes are similar to the Nike Pegasus? Thanks

Nike Pegasus
why would u want to change? Nike is the best company in terms of technology and they produce the best running shoes.
nothing beats nike pegasus imo. u can do tempo or easy runs with them and they last incredibly long
A lot of people are loving the Hoka Rincon. Probably because it doesn't feel like a Hoka shoe. Under 8 oz and snappy but with good cushion....115 bucks before discounts.

Hoka are clown shoes.
I am very disappointed in how they handled the Betsy Ross flag shoes

Stinky feet I guess.

Keep wearing your Nikes but simply staple your own flag patches over the swooshes. Problem solved.
100mpw
I liked Brooks, but despite the various options for comfort-ability and foot/shoe shape Brooks are absolutely nothing like Nike shoes in terms of feel.

New Balance 880
Brooks Ghost

Or how about 70-80mpw with a fair amount of quality work? That's usually more doable and yields more benefits, or at least when peaking for a mid-distance.

I like the Brooks Adrenaline as an alternative to Pegasus. I tried the Ghost and it didn't work.
That said- I'm 60, injury prone and susceptible to injury in the "wrong" shoe.
The Pegasus is my favorite.
I wear custom orthotics (Foot Levelers). I get Brroks Adrenaline "free"- my insurance covers them IF I get them from Foot Levelers with my orthotics custom made for them through my chiropractor.

Whatever. You fascist, lefty commies can suck a hose. I’ll never buy another Nike product.
And I’ll seek out non-anti-American companies to purchase from.
If you leftist, America-hating fascists don’t like it ... all the better.

Do people really think like this?
What you don't get is this guy and dudes like him have been waiting literally for years for these shoes to come out. Every 6 months they've been like "oh Nike are these shoes ready yet?!!" and Nike be like "be patient fans, soon - just got to get that design just perfect" and that's been going on for years. So they've all been very excited about these shoes for a long, long time.
So when Nike FINALLY says "guess what guess, They. Are. Ready! They are here!" well they could barely contain their excitement. So when Kapurniack comes along and say these shoes is da racist and Nike instantly pulls them after all these years of waiting well you can kind of understand why these guys are crying into beers that they'll never get these shoes to pair with their tailored bermuda shorts at that's a real shame.
mizunos neutral shoe is pretty close imo. ultimately i get more mpw out of the pegasus so ive stuck with em
i am not on board with some of nikes political commentary but the peg value is pretty undeniable
Tried anything from saucony?
That said, I can't stand nike as a corporation (don't like most big business corporations) and think what they did was foolish. But they make a great product. I feel the same about Ben & Jerrys ice cream: they're anti-American leftists who make a good product. I don't purchase it, but my wife does occasionally.
so be consistent with your purchasing if you boycott products.
