I've really hit a wall with my training due to this and it's spurred up a lot of other Achilles issues. I used to run in Nike Pegasus and would get the bump and achillies pain. I switched over to Saucony IsoFreedom 2 which felt great. I would still have the bump but I was able to run a lot without achillies pain. Then on my second pair, as I was really increasing my training, I started to get a lot of general foot pain. I may have been at the end of my life with these shoes though. The backs of them were pretty ripped up from the bump. So I looked for something with less heel drop and more support for higher training and got the Brooks Ghost 11. Now I just feel pain 90% of my run and even walking and daily living. So I think these are a no go. I may switch back to the Saucony IsoFreedom 2.
Any other suggestions for current shoes that help with Haglund's?
