Netflix is good if I want to just randomly browse around try to find a movie that looks interesting, but if I have a specific movie in mind that I want to watch, it's almost never available. If someone recommends a movie to me, I usually end up unsuccessfully searching for it on Netflix and HULU, then just paying to watch it on iTunes.
How is Apple so much better at movies than Netflix? You'd think that a company that is a film streaming service first and foremost would be better than a music service that does movies as a sideline.
Using Netflix is kind of like rifling through a friend's DVD collection. If you're really bored, you'll probably find something entertaining enough to be worth watching, but if you show up thinking "I want to watch X," the odds of satisfaction are slim.
