Hi guys
I'm a 17 year old girl in high school. So I just started running cross country in 10th grade (2017). My times aren't very amazing and I've been looking to use this summer to improve. Other than racking up the mileage, what else should I do to get better?
Here are my most recent race times from cross country and track:
5k = 20:07
3200m= 12:11
1600m = 5:43
My average pace on most runs is 7:40 and I am prone to shin splints if I do a lot of high intensity stuff all at once without decent recovery. I could use some tips! :)
