Hi all. I am new here. I wanted to ask for some advice.
I have been running for just over a year. A few months ago I began to run longer and I love it. My old shoes where very worn so I replaced them with the Pegasus 35s. These where great and helped me a lot. Recently I went for a run and when I finished my Achilles tendon was very painful. I rested until the pain went and went out again only for the same thing to happen. I did this 2 more times before I released it could be the shoes. I have rested for a week and now have no pain. I wanted to ask if this is normal for the 35s. I have barely got 250 miles out of them. I have only had them for 11 weeks. I am shocked at how quickly they have warn out.
So is this normal?
Can I wear them as everyday shoes or do I risk more pain?
Should I look at a cheaper pair so I can easily afford to replace them?
Any advice would be great.
Thanks
