I’m almost certain I’m missing one little piece wether it be mental or physical. Maybe I’m just purely endurance based but I can do 6:25-6:45 pace on my easy runs with no issue, I can also keep that pace for 12+ miles and it doesn’t even phase me. I didn’t break 5 this track season for the 1600 and I also didn’t break 11 for the 3200 which makes no sense. I want to run sub 16 5k this xc season because I know I am capable of so much more than this, please help and give suggestions on how to break through this barrier.
