FINISHED 3RD IN FIRST COLLEGE OUTDOOR SEASON
FINISHED 3RD IN FIRST COLLEGE OUTDOOR SEASON
f--cking impressive---his 13:32 5k was a great comeback about a month ago, but getting an NCAA 3rd to finish his first meaningful season in over 2 years is even better..looking forward to what he can do in the future...likely at least 2 more years of outdoors for him...
Runs like a bull in a china shop. Nearly pushed two runners off the track on the final lap and was passing on the inside. Not to discredit his performance but sheeesh....
Love his hair ?
After the Prisoner of Azkaban he started to lose his prepubescent cuteness.
Is this guy the most talented distance runner in the country? Considering the time that he’s missed with injury and the low mileage he runs it’s unbelievable how good he is.

I don't think it's any more unbelievable than running 4:01 in the mile in HS as a part-time runner.
I had a conversation with an Olympian after Drew Hunter went pro where we debated who was more talented - Fisher or Ratcliffe and we were both inclined to say Ratcliffe. Yes, there was no way to prove it but they were the same year in HS saying that a guy who ran 4:01 in the mile as a part-time runner is more talented is far from a stretch.
So this isn't a shock big picture at all.
The only thing that is unbelievable about him is that haircut. What the hell is that? Is that Stanford's version of the mohawk? Or mullet? Can someone under the age of 25 tell me what that is called and what the theory behind it is?
Ladies of letsrun, do you find that sexy?
Here is a closeup.

Here is an example on Henrik Ingebrigtsen:

Jesus, you're a d*bag, Rojo. Do you actually believe you're God's gift to women, and humanity, with your perfect looks and perfectly-shorn hair?
Great post race interview. I like this runner’s perseverance. More great races are down the road. We’ve all been sidelined in the pool or back at home reevaluating. Comeback kid! ??

Generational talent. Great to see him finally living up to the potential we saw in high school. Can’t wait to see him at the 2024 Olympic trials
