Currently Katelyn Tuohy in the distances, Lindsey Butler leading 5 girls in 2:10 or less in today’s NY state meet following Sammy Wastson’s recent dominance. The carnage by FM and Saratoga in XC and continued success of Molly Huddle.
I actually give the nod to upstate NY - the home of Tully Runners and hub of girl’s running in the US.

A NYCer or LIer might agree that Tuohy is domiciled "Upstate"--the rest of the state, not so much.
Score the fastest girls in the country in the 8,16, and 32... most points has the best distance and mid distance...
Upstate New York and Long Island by far. Cant really be disputed.
