I ended my high school career unable to finish my senior track season due to a stress reaction in my fibula. I'm not to worried about how I ended my track season but I signed with a competitive D1 running program and my recovery timeline right now has me not able to run all summer and perhaps extend to september. I assume I would definitely be redshirting cross season now, but I don't know what training looks like for redshirted athletes especially coming off injury. Any Advice for a freshmen with no idea what to do?
