The event will now become interesting to watch.

Corrected.
Read the article. They can't compete either, without undergoing hormone therapy.
Has she been eating steak lately?

The event isn't restricted to vegans.
More to the point, what excuse will Lynsey 'boohoo its not fair' Sharpe come up with now for trailing in down the field?
I see dipXXXX "reporter" Johnny is drinking the rojo Kool-Aid. He's an embarrassment. both are.

I agree

As much as you might not like her complaining, she'd be an Olympic medalist now if it wasn't for male athletes in her race.
Career changer.
This bit from the article is misleading:
"Caster Semenya or Francine Niyonsaba, neither of whom, under IAAF rules, are currently eligible to compete in a Diamond League women’s 800 as both refuse to take medication to reduce their testosterone levels. "
Even if they had started taking the medication on May 8th as per the IAAF rules they wouldn't be eligible to compete in international 800 races until the World Championships in Doha.
Ha ha, not for long:-

Do you also think all of kipchoge's marathons are not interesting to watch?
nah i think you just think that because all the competitors will all look like women again, and that it has nothing to do with being "fair"

This is a common fallacy and not just in this event. Re-watch the race then remove Semenya Wambui and Niyonsaba and tell me what happened. Hello? Silence. You have no idea.
The most likely outcome is they all ran in a tight bunch and at least one of them tripped and fell over. Compared with a TT style tow from Semenya it would be much more like a normal tactical 800 which is substantially a lottery depending on how much you get barged/boxed in etc. Unless someone else braved the front and ran the risk of blowing up. Would Sharpe have medalled? Who knows, but you can't deduce it the way you tried to.

In fact for once I agree with at least a part of what the site wrote about the changing face of the event. Some of these people are going to have to re-learn how to do elite 800m RACING. You know what? I bet they are secretly hoping someone steps forward and front runs the thing! (less of the lottery effect).

Oh shut up. The fact that we'll never know, is exactly the problem. She was robbed of the opportunity to medal in a fair race.
By your logic she may have won gold for all we know so if you're trying to make the point that she didn't lose anything you fail.
Strange this board supports doper aje Wilson. Perhaps because she is US. American?
So women naturally doping superseded by women unnaturally doping? (Wilson and the whole Philly crew.) I hope not.

Well we should question the legitimacy of Muir working with the Taint of all taints, Salazaar&McHenry too then, eh?
Compared to that Taint, Miss Wilson's steak story is legitimate.
Wilson is faster than Wambui and 0.14s slower at her peak than Nyonsaba, that's about a forward lean at the tape. OK in windows calculator I make it 97cm deficit at race pace. Please check some facts instead of spouting nonsense.
No scholarship limits anymore! (NCAA Track and Field inequality is going to get way worse, right?)
