Obiri, Tirop, Kipkemboi, C.Kipkirui, and Rengeruk. Also Y.Can, McColgan, and Chemnung at a level just below them. Should be a belter.

For me it’s Obiri over C.Kipkirui by 1.67 sec just like in 2017 in the Brussels DL final.
Fanta worku was the story of the race. 39.08 off her best, she has arrived at the top level now. I wonder what will be next, racing other diamond league 5000 and 3000’s leading up to the world’s. Maybe by next year will follow the example of Dorcas Tuitoek and be racing half marathons and pacing at major marathons.
Worku's old 5k PB was strangely weak. She had already a very good race at the 2018 world indoors with a 6th place and (from another race) an indoor 8:39 which is considerably better than that 15:30.
(Of course standard caveats may apply...)
