Redshirt Rules D1 XC and Track

    I was wondering what are the redshirt rules for NCAA D1 XC and Indoor/Outdoor track. For example, if you redshirt a cross-country season can you use your extra season of eligibility for indoor or outdoor track? Or can you only use the redshirt for another cross country season?

    They are 3 sports. You have 4 seasons of each.

    So track doesn't get to run somebody meets then redshirt, like football does?
