New lows in unabashed shameless self-promotion and lack of integrity! Bravo Lance, bravo... a true hero for this generation of narcissistic cheaters willing to do anything for self glorification and delusional grandeur.

I'm still proud of him. everyone was doing it. he's still the greatest. don't know why people try and act like he didn't win those tours...
I'm glad that USA showed itself to be the best at doping (and covering it up) during this historic 7-year Postal Service period. Imagine if someone else like Jan Ullrich had out-doped him?

At least he actually admitted to doping unlike Bradley Wiggins who tried to spin some bs story about having severe asthma that required treatment with steroid injections each time he started a major tour race. Yeah right Brad everyone believes you .... You also have Chris Froome with his temporary kidney failure excuse in the Spanish tour. And Armstrong has ton more charisma in his little finger than those 2 clowns put together. So he's by far the best of a bad bunch.

Indeed. Lance is the hero we all deserve, but unfortunately not the one we need right now.
Apparently still in the denial stage...
His failed attempts at contrition were phony. Will always carry the "disgraced" tag when mentioned in the news.
the guys was one of the greatest athletes of his generation and an all time great. sports like the NFL hide drug use and no one cares, watch some of chris longs interviews this week and have a laugh... peyton manning was caught red handed with hgh and not a single person cares

For me it wasn't so much about his doping (a lot of people doped and everyone lied about it), but about how he tried (and succeeded in some ways) to ruin people's lives who were telling the truth about his actions.
What he did to Frankie and Greg, among others...just despicable. And to never apologize for his actions. Such a tool.

It's the people you don't see who were outside of the top 100. Some were natural with morals. These people were rejected by sponsors and may have been discouraged.
It's possible Lance Armstrong has genetic advantages for drug use if he has more receptors. His body's response to drugs is what you were seeing. There may have been natural riders who worked harder, but Lance Armstrong had the edge.
Also with the millions of dollars he got, he could afford the latest and most expensive designer drugs from chemists. He didn't use cheap drugs that someone cooked up in a bathtub.

Apparently you missed the part where Lance lies about others to protect his sullied image, and is more than willing to try and tarnish anyone's reputation to save his own. The worst kind of cheater is one who is willing to sacrifice others to protect their ill gotten, and undeserved riches. I've never heard Payton Manning or Chris Long blame their drug use on others.

And Lance could've retired and let sleeping dogs lie, but instead, he went back to the tour and competed some more, and then he ventured into triathlon, where after putting up some surprising performances, serious questions arose about whether he was clean.
Oh, and he seemed to take pleasure in threatening potential whistle blowers, and he seemed to relish burying people in expensive lawsuits.
Obviously, the only thing Lance Armstrong regrets is not being able to take Travis Tygart down.

Chris Long smoked weed.
I agree, not like us Kenyans, Nigerians, South Africans, Jamaicans......

100% this. Everyone was doping, everyone knows it. The lengths he went to to cover it up, threatening people and throwing them under the bus, never apologizing even after exposed... that's why he sucks.

It wasn't for lack to trying! As much as I hate Lance he was the very best at cheating. No one of his era could dope like he did and get away with it. Mostly he was racing less doped opponents and those that were lower responders to doping. If you don't follow the sport much, yes Jan was doped.
Of course he wouldn't change anything. He won lots of races, was a huge celebrity, made piles of money, smashed with Sheryl Crow and had everyone wearing yellow wrist bands. He got slapped around pretty hard in retirement when he finally had to admit he doped, but he still has a lot of money and attracts a crowd wherever he goes.
Had he been a clean rider, he would have been just an average rider in the pack carrying energy bars to other riders at lunch time and spending 99% of his time staring at another rider's back. And then in retirement, he would at best be making $15 an hour as a bike tech at the local bike shop.
Funniest part about this is that it was started by a trump fan. Just cut and paste a description of Donnie.
I will never not laugh that a 48 year old woman that runs with my group beat him by half an hour at the Leadville Marathon last year.

This is the kind of thinking we see with an proud blowhard like Trump at the helm.
