CENTER FOR HIGH ALTITUDE TRAINING

American track and field standouts Abdi Abdirahman, Anthony Famiglietti and Ryan Shay arrived in Flagstaff Thursday. They are here until early August for high altitude training, preparing for the IAAF World Championships, which will be held Aug. 6-14 in Helsinki, Finland.

This is in the News section. I thought that Shay didn't qualify. Did someone back out?

Ryan will not run Helsinki. He's trying to get a regular schedule of a good fall and spring payday. (New York, Boston)
