Always thought he looked to be about 5'10-6'0 and about 130-140 ibs. But according to wiki it says 6'4 and 170 ibs. This can't be true, is it? Anyone know his true height and weight?

I ran with him at Lake Sonoma, I'd say he's about 5'10" and 145lbs.

He was pretty small after he got crushed by the Japanese 100k World Champ. He is a true lightweight when it comes to races longer than 50 miles.
Interesting. I’ve stood next to him many times and he’s definitely taller than me. I’m 6’1”
He actually changes height and elasticity based on the weather conditions. That's where he gets the bouncy stride from, it's actually him increasing and decreasing in height with each step.
He looks no less than 3-4 inches taller than this Japanese runner who is 5'8".
So 6'0" would be my guess.
Weight about 140.
Ive been 5'10 and 145 and looked much heavier than Jim.
According to his US Air Force documents and US AIr Force conscripts online he is in fact 6-4 and he certainly looks it with a stride.
Francois is 6'3", in this pic he is bowing down a bit to be Jims height. Jim is 6'1" at most.
Is there any chance Jim is single?

And since you get ht/wt checked every 6mo in the military I would go with this.
Alan
I watched the Carbon X video and on one of his laps after the 50 mile they showed him stopping to talk to a young lady in hoka gear and he kissed her.

Probably just an innocent bystander. Jim is smooth.
