Looking for someone who can serve as an inspiration for little boys and girls who suffer from the chunk. I always thought of Nick Symmonds as someone who had a little chunk in the trunk, but after looking at some pictures online they’re not too bad.

But snell’s calves didn’t quite look unathletic. I’m looking for someone who, if you were to look at their calves, you would be very surprised to discover they were a professional athlete

Yeah, Centro's are pretty muscular. In recent times, especially if you're talking calf to ankle width ratio, I'd have to go with Ciaran O'Lionaird and Henrik Ingebrigtsen.
Not a pro, but if you're looking for the widest calves in the NCAA look no further than the Ole Miss Rebel Frosh, Dalton Hengst. Those bad boys have powered him to multiple wins, dynamite times, and even an unofficial title:
