Meet looked kind of lame before entry list was updated. Now it looks like all three Ingebrigtsen brothers are entered in the 5000m, along with Yomif Kejelcha, Ben Blankenship, Drew Hunter, Eric Jenkins, Ryan Hill, Suguru Osaka, Will Leer and other strong entries. Lots of strong college entries for both men and women. College 1500m looks very good. Sifan Hassan in 10k. Jenny Simpson in 5k.
Clayton Murphy, Sean McGorty, Grant Fisher in 1500m. Wonder if Fisher will run with the big boys or stay in the college race?
Simpson moving up to the 5?
I think it was mentioned a few days ago that the Ingebrigstens cancelled their appearance and will start the season later in May in a local meeting in Norway.
That list is dated 25 April. The Ingebritsens have pulled out and will open their season in Norway on 22 May instead -

They didn't originally have the Ingebrigsten brother entered and now the updated entries posted May 1st have them. Maybe they changed their minds again. I really hope they compete, if so it changes the field from stacked to very stacked.

Yes, they were not listed then were added to the list this morning. Kejelcha and the other NOP people were also absent from the list until today. Others as well. The meet went from ho-hum to a barn-burner.

Ya, the times you put up are really fast so maybe next year if Fisher goes pro and can focus on his training without his academic pursuits.
This year, I could see him running somewhere in Europe in the 3:35 range and 13:15 range. Which is very fast for a 22 year old just out of college.
I am cheering for him to do well. He has a bright future and is a great roll model for young athletes.
