looks like a great update. After dropping bucks on the super-cushioned shoes over the last year, I'm back in Boston 7s. Simple, responsive shoe. (How many other training models does adidas have designed in Japan?)
I hope they don't change too much. This has been a great all around training shoe even before it went to boost.
I get nervous each time they announce an update to the Boston, because it is the perfect shoe and needs no updates. Fortunately, none of the updates to date have been an issue, though I think the first version that had the boost in it was the best by a small margin. If adidas f*cks up this shoe, I will never forgive them.
Will it be offered in a size 14? If not, the eff you, Adidas.
I wish adidas would start coming back with some cool colors...this black and white stuff is no fun.
Where are the blues, greens, yellows and oranges.

Um, there are typically 3+ colorways each season for the Boston. B&W will simply be one option.

Stay in your lane, Payless fat boy.

This times 1000! You can usually find better colors on the Japanese, Australian, European, and Canadian websites, but then you have to deal with shipping, exchange rates, etc. My favorite ones were the neon yellow Boston 6, which was available only in Europe.

Do you have any links to the European/Canadian sites?
The high school kids would love these
Ohhh or these....( I know they are adios but I like that shoe better anyways)
Looks like new upper and outsole - hope they didnt mess anything up

I agree. That is why I have some Boston 6 new in box and some Boston 7s. All were bought at clearance prices and all because I was concerned that sooner or later they would be messed up like the Nikes I wore a few year ago or like the Supernova/Glide that many complain about here in the forums.
There are 3 pair of older Bostons in my rotation and two unused pair of 7's in their boxes awaiting launch. At only 25-30 mpw I probably won't live long enough to need the 8's. Bummer.

I hope they fix the heel cup. Digs into your achilles. They need more flyknit style heels.
My main complaint about the current shoe is the outsole design,- the lugs on the forefoot have strait edges on the sides and more rounded ones on the front and back, which isn't great for traction on slippery surfaces. These should have better traction, and it looks like they used wider laces too as the narrow ones on the sevens come untied too easily.

No, it doesn't.
