So I want to run sub 1:18 for a half in November. I got injured this summer due to form change at the same time as running 85 miles. Took 6 months off then started running in January again dropping weight. My race weight will be around 130/135 for 5’6”. Last winter I ran 10:01 3K after just 9 months of running and a 17 year layoff prior to that so I still believe I can run around 9:15ish with training.
So what types of running /workouts would you recommend between now and the official buildup that will best help me be ready to go into a HM build? November 9th is race date and I’ll have coaching for the build.
