Hey guys, I'm current about halfway through track season and was wondering if my current times are indicative of a sub 5 mile (and if not, what I should expect on my mile) My current PRs as a HS sophomore are:
800m - 2:15 (best event imo)
1600m - 5:21 (was holding off on this race, as I was trying to PR on the 800 that same day and haven't run the mile since)
3200m - 11:14
The 1600m qualifying time for states is 4:59.50 which is why I wanted to know (already qualified on the 800 and 3200). Any feedback/advice is appreciated!
