They worth it? Heard they are good for squats and deadlifts.
also how often are these faked because on ebay i see some that look brand new for around $25 and they are at least $55 at reputable stores.

It wont make a difference, a see people lifting barefoot, with weight lifting shoes, running shoes, fake sport shoes like chuck taylors.
I used to squat/deadlift barefoot when I lifted in my empty apartment gym. Now that I am at a commercial gym I wear Adidas Samba. I've never tried Chuck Taylor but they are often recommended too. The main thing you want is a firm flat sole. Running shoes are terrible for squat/deadlift.
I run 50 milers in chucks so yeah they are durbale and no im not trolling. They are also the most common powerlifting shoes dude.
It's all flat-this, and flat-that, or barefoot where I go. Yet, powerlifting shoes (it seems that hard 12-14mm drop shoes are the ticket):
dude i lift in chucks, or slippers, or no shoes at all ...it doesn't matter. heavy deadlifts and squats

The shoe you're showing here is the somewhat confusingly named Adidas Adipower, which is designed for the Olympic lifts, with the raised heel enabling the lifter to more easily drop into the deep, under-the-bar squat positions needed for the snatch, and the clean portion of the clean-and-jerk.
A flat sole, like the aforementioned Chuck Taylors have, is more conducive for the squat and deadlift in powerlifting.
For deadlift you want to be as close to the ground as possible. It makes a difference. Go barefoot.
For squats you need a hard stable shoe with a heel. Squatting in running shoes is typically not a good idea because they are usually not stable and too springy. It may be worth a rep. It gets more important as you get closer to your 1RM. I squat in a Nike “training” shoe with a heel insert.
Really depends on how serious you want to get with lifting. A good squat shoe is 100-200 bucks. A good powerlifting belt is another 50-100. I’m cheap, so I use a golds gym belt my last two sets when it gets heavy. Once you squat with a belt, any belt, you’ll never squat heavy without one again.

Also depends on the type of squat you are doing and your ankle mobility. If you fail the wall test for ankle mobility I would at least use a heel insert. If not it’s going to be hard for you to hit depth unless you go way wide.
Many times you’ll see a power lifter in a very wide toes out squat in chucks. That’s because in that variation he wants a flat foot.

I definitely recommend lifting in Chuck Taylors. Here's why I love mine... https://bit.ly/2krogPO

Much of it depends how you left. Do you sumo squat and sumo deadlifts? Then I would recommend a flat sole shoe like Chucks or Reebok CrossFit type shoes.
If you do more Olympic style squats Then a weightlifting shoe with a raised heal, like those sold at Risto sports, are best.
I would argue that the Reebok CrossFit shoes are superior to Chuck’s but many a heavy weight has been lifted in Chuck Taylor shoes.
Full disclosure at one time I did powerlifting, and squatted and deadlifted in Chucks.
