I've had a pair for a couple months. So about the fit. When a shoe comes in a Wide width I always get it. Saucony has theirs, not called E or EE but just Wide. Every shoe of their's that I get that comes in Wide I get the Wide if getting that shoe. ASICS has EE and EEEE and if I'm getting a shoe in which either of these is offered I go wide. So that's how I always roll. The shoe you asked about only has one width sold and so I have it. It IS wide enough. The upper feels very flexible and stretchy so if 'you don't like knit uppers'. You won't like it. I say try it. I am very happy about the fit.
Oh yeah, so toebox nice and good, covered that. Fit does not feel super secure. No locked down feeling. However, for such a soft upper it's better than I thought it would be. The heel is sort of snug with firm heel counter. Heel stays put, toes plenty roomy. Over all, less snug and secure than most.
