I don't want to just dump them in trash can, but the nearest goodwill is like 20 miles away.
What's the best way to get rid of these without spending more than 10 minutes of my time?

Bro, it's only 20 miles.
Give to high school.
1. Leave them outside with "Free to a good person" sign
2. Find some telephone wires and try to throw the shoes and get them to hang from the wires (make sure the pair of shoes has the laces tied together first)
3. There has to be a collection box for Goodwill or similar charity closer
When in doubt throw it out.
I'd just throw them away. I feel gross thinking about someone else wearing my clothes/shoes.
Dump them at the local high school near the front door, under cover from the rain/snow.
Don't ever under-estimate the value of used shoes to people without tons of money.
Go to a local church and find out if they are willing to take them (most of them either run shelters of some kind or work with other churches/organizations that do)
I bring mine to the local Nike store. They take any brand to recycle. Google if there are any recycling options in your area.
Donate to a running camp in Kenya or Ethiopia or shoes for Sherpas
TBH I've just left shoes outside lined up on a wall and they went within 30 minutes.
