What do you guys think? I saw they're down to $130 (previously $180) - or should I wait until next version?

Depends. When does the next version become available for purchase? If it's more than a month, go for the sale version now.
Where are they 130?
Have you run in them before? Do you like them? If so, stock on up while they're on sale. There's nothing worse (you know, for the average successful white male on here - 1% and first world problems) than a shoe that you like changing and it being too late to buy a bunch of the old model.
I have a pair, they're weird, not what I expected. Super soft and squishy, they ended up being perfect for easy runs on days my legs feel beat up, but they feel too weird for anything faster. Definitely not a "turbo" or what I expected, but I'm happy enough with the purchase.
They're not very durable, so you'll probably use them up by the time the next version comes around.
I'm not crazy about the shoe. I think the combination of a very narrow midfoot base and the super soft zoom x makes the shoe pretty unstable. Sometimes the shoe feels great and other times it makes my feet hurt. It isn't a particularly fast shoe, and the zoom x is so soft that it kinda feels like it just bottoms out to the react on the bottom. The cushioning feels very soft, but not super consistent.

Thank you, I do not see any benefit to the Zoom X foam and its why I crapped on the Turbo and Vaporfly.
The combo of carbon plate+react foam was a better pairing than that Zoom X Crap.

Thanks for the feedback - I really appreciate it
I've heard others say that the shoe feels "dead" around 150-200 miles, which seems kinda lame for a $130 shoe.
Or maybe I'm just accustomed to getting 300-400 miles out of my $60 Adidas Boston 7's
Keep with your Boston's, I put probably around 450-550 miles into these things and the foam died about 250-300 miles in. Rubber was still decent though. I liked the Zoom Fly Flyknit's much more in general. Still I'd buy these as a walk around shoe even though mine are long past their life they feel nice to walk in.

Wow, did I write this review? Exact same feelings. Weird shoe. Felt good at first. Felt dead after 200 miles.

Zoom X is awesome, but it doesn't last. The React foam is the problem with the Turbo. The Vaporfly is the greatest shoe ever. Better than the ZoomFly flyknit, which isn't bad either.

I wholeheartedly disagree. Zoom X is great, but the shoe would be incredibly sloppy and not durable at all without the React. Even as it is, it is not very durable and kinda unstable.

Um, yeah, don't listen to this guy.
Mine show hardly any wear. This is the first shoe I've ever worn where I don't know when to change them. I might have close to 1000 miles on my second pair, running 120+ miles per wk. The sole looks great, and the cushioning doesn't feel any different to me. They are my go-to for easy runs and putting in the mileage. I've loved them all winter, when other shoes might feel too firm with the cold temps. Feet and legs have been very happy- soft, light, responsive.
I don't know. Seems like I am not the only one with issues. Loved the shoe for a little while, but didn't seem to hold up all that well. It also is a bit odd fitting it into the running shoe lineup. I found the Epic React very durable though, and people complained about the durability on that shoe initially. I think this shoe would be a lot better with a wider base at midfoot, and maybe if the Zoom X was a bit firmer like Floatride. The durability of the Floatride Run Fast seems excellent.
Maybe wait, but new one just has new upper, but I like the upper now

I think the react foam is way ahead of the zoom X. Its nearly as light and more durable. But thats just me.
I agree. Zoomx is worth the price but react zoom fly’s fk are pretty dam comparable

Nearly as light? Are you joking? My Vaporfly's feel 2-3 oz. lighter than the Zoomfly in a size 12. Huge difference over 26.2. I've got a scale. I'll weigh them to confirm.
