Saucony grid trigon

The Trigon was just updated and now includes an unposted (neutral) Trigon Ride and a posted version with more arch support. These updated shoes are quite well cushioned and have a spongy feel. However, for some reason, they are especially shallow in the heel, resulting in a feeling that they are not too secure. The previous version was a nicer fitting shoe with similar cushioning properties and a nice fit. If you can find them, I recommend opting for the one that was recently discontinued. If you are interested in alternatives, the Brooks Radius is a great neutral shoe that fits a medium to high arched foot very well. The Mizuno Wave Rider is a bit lighter and not quite so soft, but feels very smooth. Even the updated Nike Pegasus is a great neutral cushioned shoe.

i have found the resurrected pegasus to be a hollow mockery of a once great shoe

the radius just does not feel right to me
