In case you missed it, today at European indoors, Filip Ingebrigtsen was disqualified for stepping inside the rail.
Gjet Ingebrigtsen - the father and coach of the Ingebrigtsens - wasn't happy to say the least. Check this tweet out:

Youngere brother Jakob wasn't thrilled either. He called the decision a "huge mistake" and says basically people were rewarded for shoving his brother over the rail.

The “payback” allegedly involves sending his sons through the WCAP program and taking their allegiances across the pond.

Not a good look for the Team Inga. Looked like it was mostly Fillip's fault, trying to squeeze thru on the inside with no room.
IMO they need to walk it back a bit and be a bit more diplomatic after the anger subsides. -

Agreed. That’s a DQ all day long. The old man sounds like an arrogant fool -

Yup.
Obvious DQ.
You can't just cut the bend because you want to come through without going around.
Dad should take the time he spends embarrassing himself in the press and teach his kid how to run on a track. -

Dad and homemade coach took three kids to run under 3'32, for now.
So STFU.... -
no, DQ is for serious infractions that might change the result.
sorry, you gotta lay down the law those petty rule peons.
smash em. -
right now, rule makers think they are at the center of the universe.
not.
they are there for fair pay, not to be the center of attention.
fuk em, and smash em. take them to court, call them out.
immediately and in all cases.
are we not men, we are devo. -
What can the Ingebrigtsen do?
Not run at the European Indoor Championship.
They do not need that competition. And let us be honest, it is not the most important meet.
Gjert is from northern Norway. He uses a more colorful language than most. Especially if you compare to American coaches and athletes. Not a problem in Norway, but it can be hard for people thinking that the USA way is the only way. -

Sorry, I just could not help myself.
For the foreigners:
In northern Norway it is allowed to call a police officer hestkuk (= the stick that a stallion use to make babies), because, the court ruled, to say hestkuk is a natural part of the NorthNorwegian lingua.
In southern Norway you get a solid fine for the same language. -
Enjoy it while you can. I overheard a couple of great tits outside twittering about how the brojos are looking to implement a hard ban on nordnorske kraftuttrykk to maintain the puritanical language on this board.

I haven't figured out how to watch the video without changing my IP which I haven't bothered to do.
In the other thread, several people said he caused the problem though. They said he ran up on the inside, tried to squeeze in where there was no space and thus was pushed back. So if it hadn't run like a fool, it wouldn't have happened. Is this not what happened?
And didn't he get DQd last year for something as well or am I imagining things? -

Clear DQ. These kids are so hopped up on terbutaline that end up showing bad decision making and bad temper.

Does it happen in the middle of the race when they change cameras? I watched it 3 times and saw nothing.
