My racist senile neighbor insists that Kyle Korver will be the "saviour of white basketball," whatever that is.
You never heard of Bob Cousy or Jerry Westa?

Thanks! Those are my number 9 and number 10!
Also John Stockton probably ahead of JJ Reddick.
Take a look at the NBA top 50 team at 50.

Look, I realize "hot takes" are a popular thing but listing Rudy T and Pistol Pete ahead of Larry Legend is utterly ridiculous. From a post several years ago, I compiled this list of players who are in the running - Reddick and Rudy T don't even sniff a tryout on this team.
G: Jerry West, Steve Nash, Bob Cousey, John Stockton, Pete Maravich, Drazen Petrovic, Bill Sharman, John Havlicek, Gail Goodrich, Mark Price, Predrag Stojakovic, Manu Ginobili, Hidayet Turkoglu.
F: Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Dirk Nowitzki, Tom Chambers, Pau Gasol, Chris Mullin, Bill Bradley, Jerry Lucas, Toni Kukoc, Dolph Schayes, Dave Debusschere, Rick Barry, Detlef Schrempf.
C: George Mikan, Jack Sikma, Arvydas Sabonis, Dave Cowens, Dan Issel, Bill Walton, Mark Eaton, Rik Smits, Vlade Divac, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, David Lee, Bill Laimbeer.
What is the purpose of this list? It doesn't make any sense in terms of its choices either.
Why Rudy T? Why Redick? Aside from Bob Cousy, John Stockton, and Jerry West, you might want to think about Chris Mullin, a Dream Teamer (so, you missed two Dream Teamers), Dave Cowens, Bob Petit, already Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic, George Mikan would make the list just because he dominated the league for many years, Kevin McHale, Arvydas Sabonis, Manu Ginobili, Kevin Love, and the short-lived Drazen Petrovic.
I'd put Bird first, Stockton, West, Nash, Barry, Maravich, Walton, Mullin, Jokic, Sabonis. Doncic in the wings.
Cowens averaged 17.6/13.6, pretty close to Walton's numbers, but more durable and much less of a shotblocker.

Pretty comprehensive list. I would put Bobby Jones ahead of many on the list - one of the greatest defensive players ever. I would also add Scott Wedman - another great small forward from the 70's and 80's. Bird is the best white player ever - and it's not close. Walton could have been - but he was injured for so much of his career. John Stockton is one of the 5 best points guards ever - one of the most clutch players ever.
He plays for a team from TX. So, you must worship his whiteness, TxRunnerGirl.
This thread just reminds me of how bad white people are at basketball.

So you’ve had a bit too much wine tonight I see.
You accidentally put Larry at #6
The top 5 in no particular order is
Larry
Bill Walton
Dirk
Nash
Stockton
Seven years down the road Doncic will be included

Your 5 is pretty good list. Make room for Arvydas Sabonis and Drazen Petrovic. Vlade Divac was pretty good too. So was Kevin Mchale

Bird is obviously best. Have you ever watched a bball game before?
Kevin McHale obviously belongs
Oldtimers might like Bob Pettit and Jerry Lucas.
