The 3 NOP project runners got the wins in the 600, 1000 and mile with Brazier running a world best in the process at 600.
It was Engels first national title and independently when asked who should pay for dinner after the sweep both Murphy and Brazier agreed that Engels should be paying for dinner since it was his first national title.
Do you all agree with this logic? The rookie pays for dinner?

Couldn't agree more but, why not just scream from the rooftop that you are not a Republican! -
This has nothing to do with politics and taxes, idiot. This is simply a rite of passage with a teammate winning their first national title.
This in no way reflects how much money the 1% should be paying in taxes...stop being so sensitive, even if you are that liberal. -
Can't they all just pay for their own dinners? I'm sure the restaurant will split the check for them.
-
If a friend if mine won his first national title, I think I'd buy him dinner to congratulate him.
-
I do not disagree with this logic. The problem is, this an elite team environment. You and your friend are probably not teammates sponsored by Nike.
I would definitely do the same, and let him pick any restaurant in the city. -

"Stop being so sensitive"? But I'm a snowflake. Snowflakes and being sensitive go hand in hand. Kind of like LetsRun posters and mysogeny. -

They don't cuss after winning. NOP has class. -

Class? Remember when Salazar attacked Schumacher... Not exactly what I call classy, especially since Galen beat all the BTC runners in the race. -
5 years ago? And that was when Bowermen runners were purposefully working against them and trying not to let Galen qualify

I learned on LR that they should be splitting the check evenly if they aren't poor and have some class. -

You realize racing is a collection of people working against eachother to not let other runners beat you, right?
