Why was NFL's Robert Kraft leaked, with bigger names covered up?

The cops planted cameras have it on video that Kraft paid and engaged in a sexual act with a victim of sexual trafficking. They have hard evidence and want him and his attorneys to fully cooperate to nail the people running this ring and get it and his name out of the news cycle ASAP. That's why it's being played this way. Then, when charges are dropped for cooperating with investigators, the video will somehow find its way to TMZ and we'll all be in for another round of being grossed out.

Kraft was just a customer, I doubt he knows who owns the place or where the girls came from. When someone famous is busted for solicitation it always becomes public information. As for the charges he is unlikely to receive anything more than probation.

Kraft WASN'T the big kahuna ("going to get a lot worse"). So why leak his public info if he's not #1?

The more powerful politicos have too much protection, so they dump it on the NFL football owner?

Cops just want him to give a deposition, even if remotely. Most johns can't be identified on video unless they have mugshots in the system already so couldn't be contacted to be witnesses, or would simply deny it if contacted.

As an aside, is anyone surprised that Kreepy Kraft would be this cheap?

Usually your driver/contact just takes you wherever. That's why connections are so important in the biz. And most johns are not overly fussy if they are just there one-off.

Also, this was actually one of a whole network of "spas" operating near one of Trump's golf courses. They probably cornered the local market, with plenty of bigwigs mulling around.

Thing is, going to the cheap bait is less likely to end in blackmail than the $1000+ range (where cameras are all part of the game). OTOH, nominally higher rate = more discreet (which is likely more the concern than "experience" quality factors for this clientele). So there's multiple angles in play.

Doubt it. Gisele doesn't need Tom Brady. She was a made woman LONG before Tom Brady entered her life. If anything Tom got the short stick as he got stuck with Gisele after she was done with bigger men. If you know what I mean...

"Bigger" name is certainly a subjective label. Depending on your interests, the name could mean nothing.

Now, if it is a universally known name such as Tiger Woods (and why that would be surprising I'm not sure although it's bigger) or Tom Brady in terms of sports that's a different story. Any of the current Prez or former Prez's would be big news as well.

We've already got the ex-head of Citigroup and JW Childs listed as patrons. In the financial world, those are big names. That means, out of the 26 names we know, 3 of them are very well off and could easily afford to handle things in a different fashion.
