Low Arch, Nike Pedasus 31 was perfect

You can remove the existing insert and replace it with a flat insert (no raised or thicker edge around the arch area). That should effectively lower the arch a little. Another way to do this would be to turn the insert upside down and trim the foam out from under the arch area so it provides less arch support.

I routinely do the opposite. I add more material under the insert to give me higher arch support.

You need to understand that shoes aren't made to fit you... or me. They're made to fit the most people possible... the "average" person.

For those of us who are outside that "average" fit one way or another, we need to figure out how to modify the shoe to fit. It's a simple process. I've been doing it for 25 years.

The arch curve is molded into the sole, the insert is not the pronlem. Nike started changing this with the 33 ans the 35 has an even higher area under the foots arch. Some shoes will say orthodic friendly, these are pretty much flat, hard to find as well.

You know, I had the same problem, at some point it became very difficult for me to choose shoes, walking was very painful and uncomfortable. My decision was to buy a car. I used the service, which is engaged in the delivery of cars (chims.ch/), I was very quickly sent my swallow. I drive barefoot, walking time in uncomfortable shoes has been significantly reduced.

Yeah, I loved the Pegasus 30-33, with the 33 being one of my favorite daily trainers. I hated the 34 but loved the 35.

They totally lost me with the 36, though. I can't even put that shoe on without it aggravating my feet and hips. I wonder if it's related to that arch height.

I don't follow. The only noticeable difference between the 35 and 36 is the upper.

People like to complain about things. Whether or not their complaint is based on reality is inconsequential to that fact. That's the only logic behind the comment.

Makes no sense, right? That's what everyone keeps saying and why I didn't mind giving them a shot after not liking the 34s. I have no clue what or why it is. I was fighting some other little nagging injury stuff too, but my hip feels noticeably better when I take off the 36s and put on 35s.

Haha, I know it's completely illogical. And honestly I don't want to complain at all. I want to like them because I've been in Pegs for years and really don't want to have to find another shoe! Like I just said in the other post, I'm gonna give them another shot and maybe it was related to a little lingering injury, but something irritated me.
