Adidas Boston 7 - issue with forefoot. Anyone else?

I think you got a bad pair. No such issues in the pairs I am using.

I think I had a similar issue with the Adios. It felt like the shoe almost changed forms and there was a bubble on my forefoot, but it would go away after a mile or two.

I noticed that I didn't have the problem when I would lay my shoes flat, but if I left them in a gym back or on their side they would feel warped when I put them on.

Probably nothing to worry about, but that's what they all said...before the incident.

It could be defective. I've had no problems with my pair. Do you wear custom inserts?

I love everything else about the shoe, so maybe I'll exchange and give them another try. I ordered both the Bostons and Tempos to see which I'd prefer (no local running stores carried either). I like everything about the Bostons more, but this one very noticeable issue tainted them for me.

Please keep me posted. I’ve been running in the Boston 7s for about a month, including an Ironman 70.3 at 100 degrees during the half marathon. My first run after the race (today), for the first time I felt the exact problem you’ve described, but only with my left foot. I thought it was an issue with my sock or perhaps the insole somehow got folded when I put on the shoe, but neither had happened. I’m stumped. The shoes got pretty wet during the Ironman, but I don’t see how they would change the overall feel of the shoe. I may try to exchange them, but I’m all ears I’d folk have other ideas.
