With 1 being the slightest slap on the wrist and 100 being a boot to the hind end, how hard will Kipchoge spank Mo in London?
I'm going with a 9.5.
Mo is going to be handed his fish and chips and go home with a bruised soul. Kipchoge is a beast. Can't wait to see crushing.
Years ago, I know Kipchoge out kicked Farah in an indoor 3000m or two mile race. I don't think Kipchoge has done intense track training in awhile. I don't mean 440 yard repeats, 65 seconds a lap. Farah is trained to finish races sub-1:55 last 800m. For Kipchoge to beat Farah it has to be a fast race. That's a lot of pressure. Kipchoge doesn't want to have race last two miles sub-8:50 to beat Farah. Anyone can implode and have an off day.

That was a great race. A 1:55 last 800 won't save Mo if he's on 2:05 and Kipchoge at 2:01:00.
The real question is whether Mo shows up or DNF's like Bekele.
2:03 is an off day for Kipchoge.

I'd say that Kipchoge *literally* spanking Mo is more likely than Mo winning, so about a 100/10

It's not uncommon for Kipchoge to do sessions of repeat 400m in 61-62 on 45-60 sec recovery at altitude on a dirt track. Kipchoge already destroyed Farah in London last year.

9.0 but it's all about Kipchoge. If he has a terrible day Mo or any of half a dozen other guys could beat him but if he's in his typical race-day form, he's unbeatable. The only difference having Mo in the race makes is that it will push Kipchoge to make his break earlier, likely soon after the pacers drop. There's no sense in the marathon WR holder letting a 4-time Olympic gold medalist at 5/10,000m and 3:28 1500m runner hang around late in the race.

Except Kipchoge at the marathon. When does he have a bad day at the marathon? His worse time is at the Olympics but wins gold. It took a world record for him to finish 2nd! Unlikely anybody will be his competitor for awhile, until he declines which would probably be around 3 more years.
Nobody is talking about Shitara. He was able to hang with Kipchoge for the longest, and also finished 2nd in New York. Not enough talk about him and more about Farah. Maybe he can push Kipchoge harder this year at London.

Hopefully we can all agree, however Kipchoge structures his training, it is easily good enough to beat Farah. Literally the last person on earth that should have their marathon training techniques challenged is Kipchoge. He's got it dialed in at about 99.9% of optimal I'd say.

Mo can close in 1:40 for the last 800 for all Eliud cares, Kipchoge will already been done by the time Mo hits 800 meters to go so it really won't matter.
