My daughter is a HS girl. Last year she was #5/6 on varsity, and this year she moved up to #2/3. This past summer she built up to 40 miles/week and kept that level throughout the whole XC season. She started running last year after playing soccer for 10+ years and has committed to it full time. She improved her average pace from 7:14/mile to 6:37/mile from 2017 XC to 2018 XC. She recently ran a road 5k at 6:20 pace. Her track PRs in 2018 were 62 in the 400, 2:30 in the 800m, and 5:50 in the 1600m. She only ran the 1600m three times early on in the season, and never felt she had a good 800m race, as she normally raced it soon after the 400m because of the way meets are run in her league. So she mainly focused on the 400m but ran sub 63 consistently. Knowing this, if she continues to train diligently, what are reasonable but good goals for her to set in the 400m, 800m, 1600m, and 3200m since she seems to have lacked the aerobic fitness last year but has continued to develop it and improve?
