I’m 35 and a recreational cross trainer. These are my PRs in my thirties. I have faster running PRs from my teens and am a little more experienced on the running side from middle & high school programs. Only swim experience is from two years in a mediocre high school program. Am I any stronger at one sport than the other?
SWIMMING:
1000m - 16:43 (15:17 pace for 1000yd)
1500m - 26:27 (24:12 pace for 1500yd)
RUNNING:
1600m - 5:27
3200m - 11:44
5000m - 19:26
6400m (4 miles) - 25:09
All swims were in pools & runs were on tracks so timing/distance is accurate. My typical training week just consists of three swim days (1500m), three run days (2-4 miles) and plenty of stretching, foam rolling, pushups, crunches, planks, etc.
