Hi all,
Just tried the new NB 1080 v9 briefly in shop and seems much better than the v8 version. Has anyone else tried this model, thoughts? thanks.
Cheers

Given up on the 1080 after years over something that may seem stupid, but they freaking squeak all the time. Drives me frickin nutz.
Hi,
I tried it the other day, and was impressed. I compared it to the new saucony triumph iso 5, seemed lighter , faster, better transitions and softer cushioning.

It looks like one of the best daily trainers at the moment. I tried the beacon and was impressed on theJeffs recommendation.

Yes, they're getting some good reviews. Looking forward to getting a pair in a month or so.
Hi,
Lets us know of your thoughts when you try it or buy it.
I wanted to replace my aging saucony triumph iso 3 and usually I buy saucony however the new saucony triumphs seems to get heavier and firmer. The Glycerins aren't responsive enough, I don't like the heavy Nimbus. I hear the new vomero 14's are to firm in the forefoot. Whats left for a heavy duty trainer?
Initial impression of the NB 1080 v9 seem a lot better than the dead feeling v8. Lighter, faster, smoother and more responsive. I am going to try them again, the new heel counter is lower -I am not sure about as i might get heel slip.
