Interesting. Another data point for those in favor of combining NY and NE regionals.
If you did that then you would have eight regions with 6 at large teams. That would actually make a lot of sense. Hello NXN, hope you are listening.
NY takes 1, 2, 5, 6 (again) and 22 for 36 points. Fold in the top NE finisher (12) and the total is 26.

That's great and all, but there is definitely an inherent advantage running in your own region. You know, I'm pretty sure areas like the South or Pacific are different for obvious reasons.
