Maybe there's been discussion, maybe not. It appears (going to an Adidas store and online) they're not making the adizero products - Adios (well maybe), the Bostons or Tempos.
Now it's all solar whatever cheap name is.
And apparently all the shoes are over 10oz. What gives? What did they do?
What is seriously going on at sexy adidas? is it now dreaming about sucking?
I bought a pair of Adios three days ago online. Lots of options out there.
They just released the Adios 4 in the last few days, available at running warehouse now. New takumi sen just released overseas as well. For whatever reason they're still making them but they don't sell them at Adidas dot com.
I agree, we seem to be at a low ebb of Adidas' interest in running shoes.
The only changes to the Adios 4 is the removal of the suede overlays.
I have a pair of Solar Glides, they are heavy but they do the job. At the end of my long runs training for a fall HM I galloped around at 6:40 min/mi and on tired legs they feel good for morning shakeouts. The weird unattached foam tongue and hard rope laces don't help getting a good fit, but I like the heel clip swiped from the Ultra Boost
Wish they made a proper balls out road racer and a trainer like the Glide 8. Bring back the glory days of 2011 when they brought out a racing flat every quarter for no reason!

Lack of sales. Retailers got tired of getting stuck with lots of shoes that sell poorly and get stuck in inventory. So they stopped ordering that range, by and large. The people getting Boston for half and full marys are a far more lucrative market. Sorry.
Terrible marketing by adidas. When world records were run in adizero adios and major races were won in them, adidas barely made a whimper. Compare that to nike who won't shut up about the vaporfly shoes.
Adidas are getting ass kick in the corporate world . Breaking off taylormade golf , big mistake , and continuing with running shoes for running. Drop the Boston and adios would be a start and concentrate on urban wear and the a Tennis and Golf market.
It seems so crazy to leave the performance running market. Not since Fila have I seen a company get out of the market.
