Hey all, this upcoming Saturday I have my first track meet since Freshman year (I am a senior now). I just finished Cross Country season, and due to an injury in early September, I was not able to get the improvement I wanted from last XC season. Nevertheless, my PR for a 5K is 18:45. This track season, I did a timed mile in early November and ran 5:20. I have not timed my 400 or 800, but I feel like I could break 60 in the 400. One of my teammates dropped the DMR, so now I am moving from 400 to 1200, and I really have no idea what to expect. Could someone help me know what time I should be aiming for and tell me some 1200 racing strategies?
