Has anyone tried out Kalenji running shoes? Their cheapest shoes are the Run One shoes for only $12.90. Others are around $20-$60.
Decathlon's Kalenji Run One running shoes are only $12.90. I tried them out and they worked totally fine. They're cheap trainers designed for beginning joggers, but people have commented that they could run hundreds of miles in them, set half marathon PB's in them, and do all sorts of awesome things with them.
At 6.3 oz, they are about as light as many racing flats.
They aren't good for runners over 165 lbs, so the average overweight American would probably break them pretty fast.
Very impressive shoes for such a low price. Average rating of 4 stars by online reviewers.
If you're a broke or very frugal runner, these might be the perfect shoes for you.
