In an interview he said that 30 degrees isn't cold, negative 10 is cold and that they want it to get colder. But the entire girls team wears tights and long sleeves??? Someone thinks he's a tough guy

Well 30 degrees Celsius isn’t cold. But 30 degrees Kelvin is a certainly a bit on the cold side.
It wasn’t too cold. That’s what he meant. When it gets to the point that you can’t bear to take your warmups off, that’s cold. Runners had their stuff off for strikeouts yesterday.
Julien Wanders just won this 8k race in Fribourg, Switzerland, where it was about 30 degrees. Look at how the runners are dressed. Wanders was wearing arm warmers, gloves, a beanie, singlet, and shorts, which is what hobby joggers wear when temps are in the 50's. Not that cold.
A calm 30 degrees isn't that bad. A windy 30 degrees can feel like hell.

This. 30 with sunshine and no wind is very nice for running. Overcast and a 20 mph wind at 30 and you need to bundle up.

3/10 a real scientist knows it's "Kelvins"
