It’s either the TM isn’t level or the TM isn’t calibrated.. the ambient temp can make it a little more difficult but not that much
There are tons of threads on treadmill running. The general consensus now seems that it is silly to increase the incline to 1-1.5% to simulate outdoor running.
Just run at 0% and just take your pace with a grain of salt.
Anyway for me, it is usually a lot easier for me unless there is no fan and i'll overheat after like 3 miles.
I go 60-90 seconds per mile slower on treadmill, sometimes more like 2 mins.
My treadmill is a tank, was given to me for free, I’m not going to spend money to get it checked out.
Much better than running outside in bad conditions or in the dark.
