Anybody wanting to form a small group in a marathon this spring to try and hit the standard? Missed the deadline for Boston and I don't want to take the chance on weather at grandmas

I'm in. post your email address. thanks
Im also in. I've run 64 low but was rejected from Houston, Boston, London, and Grandmas.
How were you rejected from grandmas with a 64 low. They didn’t give you an entry or are they just not offering you what you wanted?

I was just rejected from the elite field - I guess it’s full. Not really in my budget to pay for the race regularly and get a hotel/travel on my own. I’m a grad student.
How about Ottowa?
That is a bummer. It got pretty full fast. They sent out an email in feb saying that there was a wait list already. Ottawa would be a good one. I know of a few guys going to try to OTQ there. There’s not that many spring options available which is a bummer.
I'm a 2:25 guy who got into the Grandma's elite field. Just an elite bib and comped entry, no housing accommodations or anything. I emailed Sarah on January 1, definitely needed to be on top of it to get in this year
A guy I coach got his OTQ at Ottawa last year. It was a good race and an okay field, but I thought it was going to be deeper in that 2:18 range. He also said it was a little windy. He's hoping to run Grandma's, but I don't see him getting in if you all haven't (he originally intended to run Boston, but things didn't work out).
If this turns into a big enough group, he may audible to Ottawa and go for a fast time.
Smoove, are you coaching that person again?
Let's all hold hands and dry each other's tears and wipe each other's butts!
I've heard of a few really fast runners waitlisted at Grandma's. There should have been some priority buckets set aside for potential front runners. It seems like a really poor elite entry process going on over there.
I am.
I have another guy who is a 64 low guy who is running Boston. That's a stacked field this year, so I'm hoping he gets pulled along nicely. If anyone else is running Boston and going for an OTQ there, feel free to email me and maybe we can get a group going for that too (although I think one will naturally coalesce there pretty quickly).
