Beginning of July: 5:55
Early August: 5:50
Late August: 5:45
Mid September: 5:33
Now: 5:25
Will I eventually break 5 during Spring Track, or do things get exponentially harder once you get down to the low 5's?

I'd say it gets a lot harder at 4:20. With good training, you shoul be able to improve a lot.
Age?
15
It’s not hard unless ur bad at running
Run 75-second track laps. Do 1, then 2 in a row, then 3, then 4. There's your sub-5 mile.
Watch Steve Spence sub-5 minute mile videos on YouTube to get a feel of how fast that feels.
If you are only 15, you may see a steady drop in time over the next 5 years or so.
To be specific, run 75-second track lap intervals and take a few minutes rest in between. Shorten the rest periods as you get better. Run 2:30 800 meter intervals too. Try to shorten the breaks as much as possible until you don't need any more breaks.
Level 1: First do a 75-second track lap without stopping. Train until you can get to Level 2.
Level 2: Then do a 2:30 800 meter run without stopping. Train until you can get to Level 3.
Level 3: Then do 3 laps in 3:45 without stopping. Train until you can get to Level 4.
Level 4: Then do 4 laps in 5:00 without stopping.
There's your 5-minute miie.

Counter to this, just get your miles in and it'll come. No need to obsess over it intervals. You will be assuredly under 5 minutes soon.
Getting under 5:00 is a reasonable goal for spring track season especially if you are fairly new to running. Getting under 4:30, however, takes a lot more natural talent and serious training.
Easy until sub 5
