I’m going to cut you some slack because I think it’s obvious that we have a language barrier problem here.

It is not so miraculous when one considers that you have tried to judge my entire coaching philosophy from a few posts that others have selectively linked to and during which you have been on hiatus.

You also seem to think that space bar or a separate line of text indicates a delineation of phases.

Your grand revelation to us is that anaerobic conditioning includes work at faster than marathon race pace as if we didn’t already know that. I clearly said “can include work at faster than race pace” and yes that means below threshold for a marathoner. Within that SAME phase the repeats get shorter and faster which some old school Lydiardites still call “coordination” but you wouldn’t know anything about that.

What you seem to be confused over (again, maybe a language barrier) is what I said to Smoove many moons ago (emphasis on time lapse to illustrate how trivial and petty your attack amounts to) concerning his own speedwork in preparing for a marathon. But you weren’t here for that so you wouldn’t know what we are talking about exactly, would you?

Well you finally gave some detail beyond the usual and what the old lydiarites call coordination is what I call integration(I must have used this term 10 times in the last two threads with reference to sprintwork before the taper so your point is moot on that. You should be able to put 2 and 2 together and have heard of both names for the phase if you've delved into the books.

The root of my frustration is your inability to answer any questions, so of course no one is able to interpret your philosophy. Surely you can understand this.

I've asked to outline how you would approach 5k and Marathon training differently, you didn't answer.

I asked you to elaborate on the difference in the structuring of faster than race pace work between Daniels and Lydiard, you didn't answer.

I asked you a ton of questions last week that you didn't answer?.

So how is anyone supposed to know what your coaching philosophy if you won't answer simple questions?

How come the likes of HRE, Kim, Glenn and Nobby who are all proper old school lydiard advocates who were coached by the man can and have wrote 1000's of pages on specifics of Lydiard without betraying your golden rule?

Frankly, I've definitely disrupted this thread in a way which I never intended but you have a unique ability to get under my skin. I'll leave it that. Answer if you wish but I won't be replying.

Proven wrong in your court of comedies? This back and forth is actually quite entertaining. All you’re doing as one of the regulars here is bringing down your own thread.

This is the third time you’ve said you won’t be replying anymore. How are we supposed to take you seriously?

I have answered every question that can be answered UP TO THIS POINT. Do you understand that the GRANULAR aspects of Lydiard are irrelevant to a crowd of people that are here only for the sideshow? Are you considering taking up a Lydiard cycle next week? Have you undertaken your own study of Lydiard and are ready to ask questions that build on prior knowledge rather than “explain the whole phase to me?”

You keep bringing up HRE and company and it is true that those people have written a lot on this site. But sadly they have stopped trying to ELABORATE because every time they do their efforts are not well received. HRE told me this himself.

You are no different. You have come at me personally without provocation and now you want me to write a book for you? Seriously? The differences between Daniels and Lydiard? That is a debate nearly every week here. Stay tuned.
