I just joined the track team my sophomore year of hs, t last year and went through xc, indoor and outdoor. I got injured in indoor and wasn’t feeling too good outdoor but I ran through it. My goal was to break 60 in the 4 but I ran a 61 my last meet. Btw I’m 16 5’8 120lb. Rn it’s xc and we had a time trial and I ran 61 again. I always break down in the last 100 m. I’ve been in the gym over the summer and I definitely got stronger but haven’t gained pounds. Breaking 60 is looking really hard I’m always so close. Does anyone have any tips?
